It's been a whole year since we left on our adventure. So, here are our favourite places in Europe for you to enjoy!

In my last post I was writing about how we had nothing left to plan for this trip. I should know better than to write something like that.

I don't want to write this because it doesn't seem real - we are heading back to Canada on February 19th.

I took some major time-off from writing for a little while to explore the highest and most extensive mountain range in Europe: The Alps!

Rifflsee is Austria's highest mountain lake, and we happened to go on a day when (once again) practically no one was there.

We didn't exactly wake up and know that this day would see us on the very top of the Weißseeferner Glacier...but we were really glad it did.

We decided to 'homebase' in the small Tirol town of Landeck, Austria which proved to be the perfect spot for any and all adventures!

Switzerland is a jewel box of a world where time stands still and you can begin your escape into a rich visual and sensory feast....

Somehow, I snagged us an apartment in a tower on the Pont Morens Bridge built sometime in the late 1290's for our stay in Annecy, France....
