Welcome to the Netherlands!

Well, we did it - this adventure is officially underway, and I can't think of a better country to launch us into the wonders of Europe!

The Netherlands might be most well known for canals, tulip fields, windmills and cycling routes but it is SO much more! It's warm hospitality, dry sarcasm, an abundance of culinary wonders, impressive sunrises and kilometers of stunning Dutch beaches! (Yes! You should definitely consider forgoing the Caribbean for a sunny beach in the Netherlands - here are a mere 10 that will hopefully change your mind)

Our time here has been brief, and rather jetlagged (so the photos are not the best - sorry!) but we managed to get out and explore a bit despite. A hot, sunny afternoon strolling in Zandvoort, Easter Sunday exploring the neighbourhoods of Amsterdam, and some delicious restos to help us refuel.

Oh! And the coolest part - picking up more CBD oil for the dogs was a total breeze ;-)

Now, feeling rejuvenated and over our jetlag, we move on to explore Belgium and pick up the 4Runner! (or at least we hope it's going to arrive. Stay tuned....)
